London, 18th October 2025 – Poised to position Central African/Pan-African fund managers at the forefront of the UK–Africa investment corridor: CAMPEA is delighted to confirm its role as an official bilateral partner of the UK Government-sponsored United Kingdom Francophone West & Central Africa Trade & Investment Forum (WCAF IV), the two-days long summit organised by UK- based Developing Markets Associates (DMA Invest) will be taking place on the 12th and 13th November 2025 (see link for general registrations).
Working in close proximity with the UK Export Finance (UKEF), this collaboration amplifies CAMPEA’s mission to connect UK project finance to portfolio companies for expansion, geographic diversification, SMEs value creation, as well as export or import finance facilities for our members and affiliates. Additionally, this partnership ensures that institutional and private investors with high-impact opportunities across Central and Francophone Africa avail to origination opportunities in conjunction with DMA Invest, while promoting and increasing strong governance, local capacity building and sustainable value creation.
“Our collaboration with The UK Export Finance (UKEF) under the banner of DMA’s WCAF is an important step in ensuring that private capital plays a constructive role not only in the Central Africa’s private sector development, but also it augments cross-border trade capacity for regional enterprises and domestic companies, by acting as stimulus to the scalability of UK-Africa bilateral trade linkages and output. CAMPEA will work to ensure our members have direct access to UK trade and export finance investors while safeguarding strong governance and sustainable outcomes.”
— Tania Eyanga, CEO, CAMPEA“CAMPEA’s participation in the West & Central Africa Trade & Investment Forum reflects UKEF’s shared ambition to deepen sustainable financing and investment ties between the UK and Central Africa. It represents the next step in the UK’s engagement with Francophone & Central Africa’s dynamic private capital ecosystem. By bringing together UK financing expertise and the region’s growing network of fund managers and operating companies, we are laying the groundwork for long-term, increased sustainable bilateral trade across the region. At UK Export Finance, we see enormous potential in strengthening partnerships with regional investment networks such as CAMPEA. Their understanding of local markets and commitment to transparent, impact-driven investment perfectly complements the UKEF’s objectives of building mutually beneficial trade and investment bridges across Africa.”
