Profile

Rachel Moré-Oshodi is a distinguished infrastructure finance executive and sustainable investment leader with over two decades of global experience mobilising private capital for transformative infrastructure across emerging markets. She joins the Advisory Board of Central Africa Markets Private Equity Association (CAMPEA), bringing deep expertise in private equity, energy transition finance, and institutional capital structuring.

Leadership in Infrastructure & Private Capital

As Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ARM‑Harith Infrastructure Investment Ltd, Rachel leads one of Africa’s foremost infrastructure private equity platforms, focused on delivering sustainable, climate-aligned, and commercially viable infrastructure investments. Under her leadership, the firm has advanced investments across power, transport, digital infrastructure, and other critical sectors that drive inclusive growth and long-term value creation.

Over the course of her career, Rachel has structured, negotiated, and closed more than US$7 billion in infrastructure and energy transactions across Africa, Latin America, North America, Europe, and Asia. Her work has consistently centred on mobilising institutional capital — including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and development finance institutions — toward bankable infrastructure opportunities in emerging markets.

Global Experience & Institutional Expertise

Rachel’s career spans senior leadership roles at globally recognised institutions, including International Finance Corporation, Inter-American Development Bank, AES Corporation, Rand, Merchant Bank and TotalEnergies. Across these roles, she has led complex cross-border financings, public-private partnerships, and blended finance structures that unlock capital for large-scale infrastructure development.

A Champion of sustainable and inclusive growth, Rachel is widely recognised as a thought leader in sustainable finance and the energy transition. Her work focuses on aligning commercial returns with environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and inclusive economic development. She has been a frequent speaker at global investment and climate forums, advocating for stronger institutional participation in African infrastructure markets.

Beyond her corporate leadership, Rachel is committed to advancing financial literacy and economic empowerment initiatives that expand access to capital and opportunity across the continent: she founded and runs Ruwah, an educational digital platform focused on  broadening and strengthening young people’s financial knowledge and literacy.  She is recognised by Forbes Africa as one of the 50 Most Powerful Women and by Fast Company as one of the Most Creative People in Business.

 Education & Recognition

Rachel holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School. She has been recognised among Africa’s leading business leaders for her insights and contributions to infrastructure development and capital markets innovation.
