Our membership categories servicing are in accordance to the following registrant tiers, comprised of :

  1. Fund of funds | LPs: Limited Partners consisting of corporate, sovereign and institutional allocators from development finance institutions, academic and science endowments, Pension Funds, SWFs, family offices, multilateral and governmental institutions, philanthropic capital foundations

  2. Corporate and VC Portfolio Managers: Financial Intermediaries and General Partner Companies from PE, VC, Infrastructure, REIT Debt, Commodities & Energy, ESG Impact and Green Finance Funds.

  3. Ecosystem Partners: Incubators, consultancy practices, fund administration and corporate services, trusteeship & fiduciary services, compliance firms, audit and advisory, research, academic, legal service providers, advisory firms, technology service providers, accelerators, law firms.

    Individual Members – Professionals, academics, and independent investors

Membership Application Procedure

Joining the Central Africa Markets Private Equity Association (CAMPEA) requires adherence to a transparent and structured process that ensures members align with the Association’s mission and governance standards

Step 1 — Expression of Interest

Submit your interest via the online application form or by contacting the CAMPEA Secretariat. You’ll receive an information pack with membership categories, benefits, and requirements.

Step 2 — Application Submission

Complete the Membership Application Form and provide supporting documents (such as organizational profile, fund overview, or institutional mandate, depending on member type).

Step 3 — Review & Due Diligence

The CAMPEA Membership Committee reviews applications to ensure alignment with our values, governance standards, and industry objectives. Additional information may be requested during this stage.

Step 4 — Approval & Confirmation

Approved members receive an official confirmation letter and membership agreement, outlining rights, responsibilities, and annual dues.

Step 5 — Onboarding & Official Welcome

New members are formally welcomed into the Association through an orientation session, followed by a membership announcement on CAMPEA’s website, social media including a feature on our partner publication outlets, and given access to member-only platforms, research, and events.

  • Access Setup – Credentials to the CAMPEA member portal, research library, and events calendar.

  • Visibility Boost – Feature in the “New Members Spotlight” in our newsletter and website.

  • Engagement Pathway – Invitation to join sector working groups, committees, and events.

Member Commitments

  • Uphold CAMPEA’s values of integrity, collaboration, and responsible investing.
  • Actively participate in events, working groups, and industry discussions.

  • Contribute insights, research, or case studies to the CAMPEA knowledge base.

Membership Fees & Renewals

  • Annual membership fees vary by category and size of institution.

  • Renewal reminders sent 60 days before membership expiration.

  • Members must remain in good standing to retain privileges.
